The battle between the feuding Donkeys and Elephants begins this week and continues on. Turn on the TV and you’ll hear each politician slander, praise, and expose the other, while enthusiastically praising themselves. In the race for governor in New York for instance, we have a politician reminiscent of Worf from Star Trek (see video below) reppin’ the “Rent is Too Damn High Party,” and another who celebrates the Jewish community while slandering the Gay community, only to take back his bigoted words a few short days later. Needless to say, our options are slim, but hey: VOTE ANYWAY.

And remember, here at cufflinksman, we’re just poking fun at the already ridiculous nature of modern politics, so no hurt feelings (if you’re a Star Trek fan). Politics is a serious matter and why yes, the rent is too damn high…

So you’re going to vote, right? We know how hard it is to get out to the voting polls, especially after a long day’s work, just to fill in some bubbles and pull a little lever (each state is different). And one even questions some of the seedy, unreliable politicians out there, wondering who the “lesser of the two evils” is and “will my vote really make a difference?” But one thing is evident: your voice can and needs to be heard.
