Everyone knows that stamps by themselves aren’t that exciting. They are basically used for one thing and one thing only — to mail a letter. But any stamp collector will tell you that collecting stamps is quite thrilling at times. There are many memorable stamps that have come and gone throughout the years. In fact, certain stamps are considered to be valuable works of art. So it’s no surprise that some of the most famous stamps have been transformed into cufflinks. Penny Black Forty took the art of stamp collecting to a whole new level.

Amanda Knox Found Knox Guilty

Wednesday, October 5th, 2011

Convicted murderer, Amanda Knox, is returning home to the United States after spending almost four years in an Italian prison. Will she become America’s new sweetheart? We doubt it.

Prosecution ruled that the evidence was botched and unreliable to convict her and her Italian boyfriend, say sources. A court-ordered DNA review discredited the crucial genetic evidence that led to the original 25 year sentencing.

Amanda Knox is entitled to receive over a 1/2 million dollars in compensation due to her wrongful imprisonment. But it is unlikely that she will need that money, because TV stations will pay beau-coup bucks for an exclusive interview. It was reported last night that she and her family finally celebrated her 21st birthday (long over due) at an undisclosed location. As for her mental health, they’re going to see how it goes. Her father was quoted saying, “You know Amanda is very strong and has stayed very strong. We’re going to have to see what happens with her, but no we don’t have anybody on board who is going to give her counselling or anything like that.”

As for Italy, she wants to leave it behind her. After spending over 1,000 days in prison, little luxuries like laying in the grass will be high on the agenda. She even plans on enrolling back in college to complete her coursework. We silently wonder what that will be like…the 19 yr. olds sitting next to her in some psychology class wondering if they’re sitting next to a stone cold killer.

Then of course the debate will re-open (not like it was ever closed) on the actual identities (plural because the drug dealer who was convicted said he “did not work alone”) of the killers of Knox’s 24-year old flatmate Meredith Kercher. Obviously Kercher’s family is not shouting for joy at the release of Amanda Knox, but aren’t exactly condemning the verdict either:

“Meredith Kercher’s bewildered family vowed to pursue justice yesterday as Amanda Knox flew home with the status of an international star. Agony etched on their faces, they demanded to know what had ‘truly happened’ to the 21-year-old  British student. Meredith’s dejected mother Arline Kercher, sister Stephanie and brother Lyle described being ‘back to square one’.

Lyle said: ‘We are left looking at this again, and how a decision that was so certain two years ago has now been so emphatically overturned.’ ” (Reports DailyMail)

So the question still remains: WHODONEIT?
